Image
The design team of the  Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  challenge us to make a card that is inspired by the following picture. This challenge is sponsored by  Connie Fong Art  The sponsor asked designers if they would like to pick a digital stamp from their collection. I immediately jumped at the chance and fell in love with this cute penguin stamp.  At the time of ordering I had no idea what I would create but it was not long until I had lots and lots of ideas running around my head. I soon settled on the idea that this stamp would be used for a special lady that I work with. She is retiring at the end of the month from teaching Animal Care. She is a lady who loves all animals and I know she will adore this cute penguin and the additional ladybug and butterfly.  I loved using this stamp and I will be using it time and time again for different occasions.  Connie Fong Art  have lots of cute digital stamps, please click on the link to visit the store. I love my creation that was inspired by this beautiful picnic setting, I hope you like it too. I imagined that I was at the picnic having a wonderful time. Listening to the birds and smelling the flowers. I thought about other nature that I would see. To design my card I used a selection of white die-cuts. the die-cuts are a beautiful frame, a bird, fern and a selection of leaves. I used a pale yellow card to create on. I attached the frame and bird by using dimensional's. The others items were attached by using glue. I brought the bottom of the stems to the center of the frame and placed a felt sunflower and wooden ladybug on to top of the stems. I added one yellow and one red diamante to each corner of the frame. I also added a small silver diamante to the bird to form an eye. I did not att

Christmas in July

Never too early to start the Christmas cards. A little embossing and some beautiful cut die go together like a Christmas tree in the snow. The die cuts I used were snowflakes, a christmas tree decorated with star decorations and the word Noel.  The embossing is mainly of snow flaks and other fancy patterns.  I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges. https://christmascardsallyearround.blogspot.com/ http://creativeknockouts.blogspot.com/ https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/ http://cardz4galz.blogspot.com/ https://fresh.inlinkz.com/party/a31d70a3e3e14869acd0aaf1356de0e1 https://paperbabestamps.blogspot.com/2022/07/paperbabe-stamps-challenge-172-anything.html

Also whilst you there why not sure with us what the prompt inspired you to create. Inspiration Station Challenge blog The current picture prompt is For this prompt I used a 6 inch square card. By using dimensional's I added a 5.75 inch (round edged) square made from shiny silver. I cut another round edged square that measures 5.5 inch. This square is made out of scraps of wrapping paper. I think the captions on the paper and adds character to the card. The square of wrapping paper is laid flat using double sided tape. I refered back to the original silver card and cut two 2 inch balloons and a "Happy birthday" sentiment. I added a length of ribbon to each balloon. The sentiment and balloons are held in place by using dimensional's. I think the card is eye catching
