The Fairy Of The Roses kit by The Paper Shelter

Image
As part of the design team for  Through The Craft Room Door Blog  I was asked to design a card using  The Fairy Of The Roses kit  by  The paper Shelter The kit comes as a collection of pre coloured digital stamp, black and white stamp for you to colour and a backing sheet. I decided to use the pre coloured stamp because honestly I could not resist the beautiful colours. I also had a lovely backing sheet from my collection that I wanted to use. I added a bit of bling to each corner of the card and a larger bling on to the backing sheet. I fussy cutted the fairy image and added dimensional 's to the fairy to add a bit of life. I also added a matching Happy Birthday and attached it with dimensionals. All in all I think I created a delightful card that would be perfect for any young princess or anyone who likes princesses.

These cute pumpkins have been sitting in my scrap box for the last ten years or so. I was inspired to use them for the latest  Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  I just had to decide how they were going to be used.  The latest picture to inspire us.  I do not have any Halloween designer paper and did not intend to buy any so after searching my imagination I decided to do a layered card using two of my favorite colours (orange and black). I like my finished product and would love to see what the inspiration picture inspired you to design. Please stop by at the blog and share your creations.

The new challenge was approaching for the  The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  and to be honest I had no idea what to create  had looked at my dies and searched my mind for an idea on how to use my dies. No ideas were being found so I decided to leave this card for now. It was some weeks later when I was looking in my scrap box when I came across a bag of beads. The bag was actually an Halloween loot bag. As soon as I saw the bag I had an idea to add it to to a black 6in by 6in piece of card.  I set to work cutting up the plastic Halloween bag and I clued it to my black card. I have never used a plastic bag to make a card but some of you may know that I love to recycle where I can. I must admit I did use far to much clue but that didn't matter it added more of an Halloween feel to the card and the texture of the crumpled bag feels great for a card for the Halloween season.  The picture below is the image we were given to be inspired by.  Please stop by at the blog a
