Beautiful Harvest, Inspiration Station Challenge Blog


Hello how are you all? welcome to my latest card that I designed for The Inspiration Station Design Blog our photo inspiration is


What a lovely selection of food for us all to be thankful for. I did originally plan on making a thank you card for this photo however a regular customer asked me to design her a card with flowers on she never specified the kind or colour of the flowers. When I had a look through my stash I already had 19 flower cards that she can pick from.

I was always going to use the peach design paper from Stampin Up but on closer look I noticed that some of the collection have flowers alongside the peaches I decided to improvise with my customer and offer her a peach and flower card, so now she as 20 cards to choose from. She also loves slimline card hence why I have gone slimline.

I added a "birthday wishes" statement and a bit of bling.

I have seen this card created lots of times by various designers. It is a card that I wanted to make my own version of but never got round to it. Well today I dug out my checked card and had a play. I was inspired to do so by this photo. Hi all! I hope you are all well and having a delightful day. Today I am sharing with you a tri-panel card that was inspired by the latest  Inspiration Station Challenge Blog The picture above inspired me to make a Joy holiday card. I am sure the boys are having a lot of joy, what do you think? Inspiration Station Challenge Blog 03/10/22

The new challenge was approaching for the  The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  and to be honest I had no idea what to create  had looked at my dies and searched my mind for an idea on how to use my dies. No ideas were being found so I decided to leave this card for now. It was some weeks later when I was looking in my scrap box when I came across a bag of beads. The bag was actually an Halloween loot bag. As soon as I saw the bag I had an idea to add it to to a black 6in by 6in piece of card.  I set to work cutting up the plastic Halloween bag and I clued it to my black card. I have never used a plastic bag to make a card but some of you may know that I love to recycle where I can. I must admit I did use far to much clue but that didn't matter it added more of an Halloween feel to the card and the texture of the crumpled bag feels great for a card for the Halloween season.  The picture below is the image we were given to be inspired by.  Please stop by at the blog a
