Digital Penguin stamp from Connie Fong Art

Image
The design team of the  Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  challenge us to make a card that is inspired by the following picture. This challenge is sponsored by  Connie Fong Art  The sponsor asked designers if they would like to pick a digital stamp from their collection. I immediately jumped at the chance and fell in love with this cute penguin stamp.  At the time of ordering I had no idea what I would create but it was not long until I had lots and lots of ideas running around my head. I soon settled on the idea that this stamp would be used for a special lady that I work with. She is retiring at the end of the month from teaching Animal Care. She is a lady who loves all animals and I know she will adore this cute penguin and the additional ladybug and butterfly.  I loved using this stamp and I will be using it time and time again for different occasions.  Connie Fong Art  have lots of cute digital stamps, please click on the link t...

Hello all thank you for visiting my blog. I am so excited to be designing again for  The Inspiration Station Challenge Blog  come over and join us and share your creation. I love my creation that was inspired by this beautiful picnic setting, I hope you like it too. I imagined that I was at the picnic having a wonderful time. Listening to the birds and smelling the flowers. I thought about other nature that I would see. To design my card I used a selection of white die-cuts. the die-cuts are a beautiful frame, a bird, fern and a selection of leaves. I used a pale yellow card to create on. I attached the frame and bird by using dimensional's. The others items were attached by using glue. I brought the bottom of the stems to the center of the frame and placed a felt sunflower and wooden ladybug on to top of the stems. I added one yellow and one red diamante to each corner of the frame. I also added a sma...

Christmas in July

Image
Never too early to start the Christmas cards. A little embossing and some beautiful cut die go together like a Christmas tree in the snow. The die cuts I used were snowflakes, a christmas tree decorated with star decorations and the word Noel.  The embossing is mainly of snow flaks and other fancy patterns.  I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges. https://christmascardsallyearround.blogspot.com/ http://creativeknockouts.blogspot.com/ https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/ http://cardz4galz.blogspot.com/ https://fresh.inlinkz.com/party/a31d70a3e3e14869acd0aaf1356de0e1 https://paperbabestamps.blogspot.com/2022/07/paperbabe-stamps-challenge-172-anything.html

Hi all! I am the new member of the design team for Insperation Creations and I can not wait to share with you my inspired cards, we have some amazing promots coming up, come over and take a look. Also whilst you there why not sure with us what the prompt inspired you to create. Inspiration Station Challenge blog The current picture prompt is For this prompt I used a 6 inch square card. By using dimensional's I added a 5.75 inch (round edged) square made from shiny silver. I cut another round edged square that measures 5.5 inch. This square is made out of scraps of wrapping paper. I think the captions on the paper and adds character to the card. The square of wrapping paper is laid flat using double sided tape. I refered back to the original silver card and cut two 2 inch balloons and a "Happy birthday" sentiment. I added a length of ribbon to each balloon. The sentiment and balloons are held in place by using dimensional's. I think the card is eye catching...

Stamps and frame

Image
Tonight I had inspiration from the  Double Trouble Blog  they gave us this pattern that they wanted us to put our own stamp on to our design.  When I say "they wanted us to put our own stamp on to our design" they actually did want us to do, as they're was a twist that needed adding to our design. We were not allowed to use pattern paper for our back grounds, we had to make our own background by using any of these techniques " dry embossing, stenciling, stamping or inked". This give me the chance to use some stamps that I had in my collection but not actually had chance to use. I settled for a small scatter of leaves and flowers and a centerpiece of a golden butterfly. It was fair to say that I was happy and loved my creation that I stamped on to my framed pink piece of card. I loved all the curves that I decided to find a thin die-cut that would compliment my pink frame. I cut the thin die in silver and added this and the pink to a white card using ...

Cowboy Shirt

Image
I have seen this card created lots of times by various designers. It is a card that I wanted to make my own version of but never got round to it. Well today I dug out my checked card and had a play. I was inspired to do so by this photo. This photo can be found here on the  Inspiration Station Challenge blog The deign team offered cards that feature different horses in action, there was one card that had a number of cactus's. All the cards were really good  but I was inspired by the cowboys checked shirt.  Why don't you head over to the Inspiration Challenge blog . and see how you are inspired. I have entered by card in to their challenge.
